Graphic Chip with fewer shader units
Videocardz has published new Information on the technical Data of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660. The TU116 gradient chip is said to own 1,408 shader units, while the Chip On the Ti version (to the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti test report) comes to 1,536 Units. According to Videocardz, the Base act is 1.530 MHz and can reach 1.785 MHz in Boost mode. Partner Cards are probably allowed to clock with up to 1,860 MHz.
ONLY GDDR5 instead of GDDR6
When It comes to video Storage, there is the biggest Difference between the two Graphics Cards. Instead of GDDR6 storage, the GeForce GTX 1660 uses only GDDR5 video storage. This is said to amount to six Gigabytes and clock at 4,000 MHz. Nvidia leaves the Storage Interface at 192 Bits, but the Memory Bandwidth reduces from 288 GB/s to 192 GB/s.
